Cargo Reef

Cargo Reef refers to the Rish enclave built into the interior of the Stardock's docking hub.

This amalgamation of habitat modules, service components and power generators were hidden within the stowed cargo containers within the dock. This method of cargo storage was used for the outbound leg of Expedition Two, and yet not once was the extra mass or the 4000 odd Rish ever discovered in the run-up to the launch.

Cargo Reef is built directly into the dock wall of Canopus Station, with access hatches cut through the hull to allow access from the Enclave into the Station proper. Within the bounds of Cargo Reef, the Rish laws of hospitality are observed, as well as their myriad traditions. It is suspected unlicensed gambling, the creation of illicit fermentation products, and unregulated pharmacology are permitted within the Enclave.

Cargo Reef's de facto leader is Captain Bossa Dieu-Le-Veut, captain of the Rish privateer Witch Of Endor.
