Geographical Descriptors
Built within the crash site of the colony barge ACCS Acheron, the colony of Landersfell is spreading out from the port side of the ruined starship. Using material from the ship's superstructure, as well as prefabricated colony housing units, the make do and ramshackle look of the settlement cannot be helped.
Due to the power constraints on the remaining fusion reactors on the Acheron bring used to keep the 8000 cryogenically preserved colonists alive, solar collection is by far the main means of energy production.
Key Points
Port Side is the civilian sprawl of Landersfell, where housing and civil infrastructure is housed.
Starboard Side is the industrial hub, where a large part of the Acherons hull has been removed, to allow ready access to the damaged antimatter reactor and other key engineering systems. It is also where a number of Class Four Industrial Replicators on loan from Starfleet have been installed, alongside a pair of Arrow class Runabouts that are being used as makeshift portable reactors.
Points Of Interest
Mechanics Guild: A cooperative group of engineers, technicians and electricians who have banded together to buy passage on the Acheron, from Callisto. Many of their numbers do not have official licences from any UFP certified higher learning establishment.
The Whistful Photon: Combination bar/commissary/general store in PortSide. Run by the emancipated Mk3 EMH known as Emkay, it is a communal hub for the people of Landersfell.
