Introduction/Overview

Marines. Some say that their only purpose is to serve as cannon fodder for the Federation- doing the things that are too grisly for regular Starfleet personnel to contemplate. Others believe that Marines serve to bring conflicts to an end through decisive combat action.

On Canopus, Marines are a valued part of our team, filling a variety of roles aboard the station in various departments that undergo a wide range of training in both combat and support roles from manning the Space Traffic Control stations to serving as Engineers or Paralegals throughout the base.
